This 1950's vintage Advance 6468 sewing pattern is from 1953 and is for a flared circle skirt or a petticoat with a fitted waist. All options include a zipper closure, but other choices include a ruffled tier, and rick-rack. This pattern was featured in the Advance patterns catalog, August 1954

Waist:  27", but keep in mind that patterns can be adapted to fit a range of sizes.
